About Us
The TOGETHER FOREVER programme was established in 2004 in Uitenhage, our first district.
It comprised of seminars and workshops that were done to advice and encourage married couples. The number of couples who began to come for counselling and pre-marital couples began to increase and so did our interest in family life. In our second district – East London Inland- we had our first couples retreat at Kei Mouth. It went very well and we received a lot of positive feedback. That was in 2008 and we have held an annual retreat since then.
The aim of the retreat is for couples to bond and have a great time together. To help those whose spark has fizzled out to reconnect and rekindle their romance and as such the structure of the retreat is more activity based than information driven.
We enjoy playing and hope that the joy that we have in our marriage will be contagious and spread to the couples with which we share our lives.
As a couple, “Together Forever” is our ministry to reach out to others. Although our retreat is a faith based initiative, it is open to friends and relatives who are not of our faith. Marriage is under attack and we desire to do our bit to spread the word that marriages do work when God is in it!
